Description of PDC Cutters
PDC cutters are produced by sintering selected diamond particles at high pressure and high temperature, and consist of diamond layer and tungsten carbide substrate. HNI manufactures a full range of premium polycrystalline diamond and tungsten carbide (WC) products that drive productivity in the oil and gas drilling industry. PDC cutter allows the high strength, hardness and wearing property of diamond layer.
We supply shape of round, half round, segments, triangle, rectangle. and our standard diamond layer thickness is 2.0mm, total thickness of 1.5/2.3/3.2mm.
Before leaving the factory, the appearance size, chamfering Angle and joint surface of the all PDC cutters are tested. Several pieces were randomly selected from each batch for wear resistance and impact resistance testing.
